Old Hollywood glam ♡

Details listed below:

Hello my lovelies! I came up with this look for the holidays, and intended it to be my Christmas look, but I didn't get it filmed and uploaded fast enough. So this is just a more heavy glam makeup look that can be worn to any last holiday parties you have, or just a night out.

- MAC 'brown script' with a MAC 217 in the crease
- Blend edges with MAC 224
- Cargo cosmetics 'Let's Meet in Paris' holiday edition eyeshadow palette the color 'croissant' on lid with a Sigma E55 brush
- 'Croissant' from the Cargo palette on a flat synthetic brush from the NAKED 3 palette on my lower lash line

Hair:
- Curled all of my hair TOWARDS my face with a CHI 1 1/2 inch curling iron, and then I set them by letting them roll up and cool in my hand. Brush through and don't spray for a more natural, effortless look.

I went a little more simple with my outfit, because of my makeup being very intense. This look is so effortless, and comfy. It is such an easy look to achieve. Before & after: Hannah Galloway ♡

Hi loves, so I got to glam up this cutie for her 21st birthday! Hannah is one of my sorority sisters, and I always have so much fun when I am around her. She is so full of energy and HILARIOUS! I was so happy that she wanted me to do her makeup for pretty much the best birthday she has had yet! ;) 21!!!

I didn't go for a super dramatic look, just because Hannah doesn't wear a lot of makeup to begin with. I did a more red-brown simple smokey eye to compliment her green eyes, while still keeping her eyes bright. I paired this look with the perfect pink-coral lip.

Alex's reaction to her makeup for her engagement photos ♡

*NEW SHORT VIDEO IS UP ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL FROM ALEX WATSON'S ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS TRIAL RUN!*

Hi everybody! I put this short video together of just different parts from the end of the night when I was finishing Alex's makeup for her engagement photos trial run. This is not a video showing you how to do makeup, it is more of just a "teaser" from that night. I knew Alex would love to see her own reaction, so I put this together especially for her. I also included her perfect reaction at the end! It is so rewarding to see how much she loved the look I came up with for her.
If you know of anyone getting married that is around the panhandle of Florida and around south Alabama, I do free consults with all of my own products + theres if they choose to bring their own as well. This includes, engagement photos, engagement portraits, bridal makeup + bridal party. I do travel as well. For business inquiries, you can email me at annecarolwilson@hotmail.com.
I hope you all enjoyed this video, and if you did please 'like' the video. Also please leave a comment on the video telling me what you would like to see next.

My first engagement photos makeup trial ♥

Alex Watson's engagement photo makeup trial

I had the honor to be asked to do one of my sorority pledge sister's makeup for her engagement photos. I was so excited to be able to share this memory with her! Alex is such a beautiful person inside AND out! She has such natural beauty, so with this simple but glam makeup look, it just made her that much more beautiful! I went for a more simple look to bring out her already pretty features, such as her amazing eyes and smile! I didn't want to do too much with the eyes, because of the flash photography would make her look a little "racoon-ish" if done too dark. I am so extremely happy for her and her fiancĂ© Heath's big day!!

Alex,

Thank you so much for asking me to do your makeup for such a fun and memorable day for you! You are such a beautiful and great person. I had so much fun with you creating this look! Seeing you get so excited about it, and to see how much you loved it, made me so happy. Thanks for making what I love to do so easy and more fun! You are going to be a gorgeous bride, Alex!

Fall Look #1 ♡

Hey lovely ladies! I just cannot believe fall is FINALLY HERE!!! Fall is my most favorite time of the year! Everything about this season is so perfect; the delicious scents that come out at this time from none other than my favorite store, Bath & Body Works, the colder weather, the clothes, yummy coffee drinks, and my most favorite, the dark lips!
This makeup look is based on that dark cranberry lip color that is 'so in' this season. When you incorporate a dark lip into your makeup look, you will want to do a neutral eye. By doing that, it will keep you from looking too over done.
This makeup look is one of my go-to fall looks. This makeup look is so effortless, but still so glam! Please watch the video below if you want to know how I do this makeup look, and how I pair it with the dark red lips.

Faking it when waking it with puffy eyes ♡

Stayed up too late last night studying or out late with friends? Did you cry yourself to sleep over being too stressed? Or did you find yourself crying over a sad movie? If so, chances are you woke up with puffy eyes. You can’t pull the covers up over your head, because you have too much to do. Check the clock, how much time do you have? If you have plenty of time, the tried and true remedies such as tea bags, ice, and cucumber slices work great.
If you are like most college girls, you wake up just in time to go to class. You need a quick fix. There are a lot of products on the market today that promise to reduce eye puffiness. I have tried numerous ones just to find the right product that works for me. My three favorite products are, Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller, Nuance by Salma Hayek Green Tea Cooling Eye Gel, and  First Aid’s Beauty Detox Eye Roller.
GARNIER NUTRITIONISTE SKIN RENEW ANTI-PUFF EYE ROLLER
This product is available at most pharmacies and discount stores. The price of this product is $12.99 at CVS Pharmacy. I really like this eye roller because it is a very light formula for your eyes. It does not leave a sticky residue. The most effective ingredient in this product is caffeine. Results are seen very quickly when using this product.
SALMA HAYEK NUANCE GREEN TEA COOLING EYE GEL
This product is by Salma Hayek’s beauty line and is sold exclusively at CVS Pharmacy. The price of this product is $16.99. I find this product to be more heavy on my eyes, and does not dry as quickly as the Garnier brand. The formula is thicker and somewhat sticky. The formula has natural green tea extracts in it to help cool the area around the eye and to especially reduce puffiness.
FIRST AID DETOX EYE ROLLER
This product is the most expensive out of all three products. The results are the best, but does not exceed the results of the Garnier to warrant spending twice as much on this product. This product is sold at Sephora, and you can order it off of their website firstaidbeauty.com. This product is sold at $24.00. The Detox Eye Roller gets its name because the formula has hyaluronate and advanced peptides in it. Those peptides restore collagen that is lost in the area around your eyes that cause severe puffiness and dark circles.
Everyone loves to look fresh and rejuvenated; even when you have to fake it. Fortunately there are many products in the market that help us with faking it.

The Original Beauty Blender® ♡

Fall and winter are right around the corner. That means romantic candle lit dinners with your honey, cuddling by the fireplace, and bonfires with friends. We all know that the colder the weather gets, the more dry our skin becomes. When it comes to makeup application in the colder months, it can be more of a challenge trying to make our skin look like it has that “natural, dewy” look. Luckily for us girls, there is a makeup tool that can give us just that. The best makeup blending tool on the market today is the original Beauty Blender®. It is the award winning makeup sponge applicator, and was created by celebrity makeup artist Rea Ann Silva. The sponges are latex free. Professional makeup artist, and my personal favorite makeup instructor, Kandee Johnson said about the original Beauty Blender®, “The Beauty Blender is a must have in your foundation application. You might not think this is amazing, but this will change the way you apply your foundation. Regular brushes leave brush strokes on the face. This (Beauty Blender®) is a better alternative to your fingers when you apply your foundation. It feels great when you apply it; like a massage. You can wash it and reuse it as many times as you would like. There are many different knock-offs, but none are as good as the original Beauty Blender®.” For all of my Troy friends, I bought mine at Glow boutique downtown on the square. They sale them in doubles or singles. I bought the double pack for $29.95. Although they are rather expensive, they will change your foundation application, and with proper care they will last. Blending is such an important part of flawless makeup application, this applicator will be used in many ways to ensure that my makeup is ready for this coming fall and winter.

The Beauty Blender, in my opinion, works the best when damp. The sponge being damp will also give you that dewy look. Just soak the entire Beauty Blender with water, and squeeze out the excess water.
