The Original Beauty Blender® ♡

Fall and winter are right around the corner. That means romantic candle lit dinners with your honey, cuddling by the fireplace, and bonfires with friends. We all know that the colder the weather gets, the more dry our skin becomes. When it comes to makeup application in the colder months, it can be more of a challenge trying to make our skin look like it has that “natural, dewy” look. Luckily for us girls, there is a makeup tool that can give us just that. The best makeup blending tool on the market today is the original Beauty Blender®. It is the award winning makeup sponge applicator, and was created by celebrity makeup artist Rea Ann Silva. The sponges are latex free. Professional makeup artist, and my personal favorite makeup instructor, Kandee Johnson said about the original Beauty Blender®, “The Beauty Blender is a must have in your foundation application. You might not think this is amazing, but this will change the way you apply your foundation. Regular brushes leave brush strokes on the face. This (Beauty Blender®) is a better alternative to your fingers when you apply your foundation. It feels great when you apply it; like a massage. You can wash it and reuse it as many times as you would like. There are many different knock-offs, but none are as good as the original Beauty Blender®.” For all of my Troy friends, I bought mine at Glow boutique downtown on the square. They sale them in doubles or singles. I bought the double pack for $29.95. Although they are rather expensive, they will change your foundation application, and with proper care they will last. Blending is such an important part of flawless makeup application, this applicator will be used in many ways to ensure that my makeup is ready for this coming fall and winter.

The Beauty Blender, in my opinion, works the best when damp. The sponge being damp will also give you that dewy look. Just soak the entire Beauty Blender with water, and squeeze out the excess water.
